Here is a short synopsis of the thriller, "Escaping Tranquil":

THE MAJORS:

Tranquil Rae has her father’s striking coloring and her mother’s personality. Who could guess that she was adopted as an infant? Certainly not Tranquil in her average life, running her father’s French Broad River Fishing Camp in small town Tennessee. Her faith is lukewarm, without substance, perfunctory, but God seeks her company as He heats up her life.

Fletcher Pickford’s stepmother secretly gave her baby up for adoption. Her secret might have stayed secret had she not willed 4.2 million dollars to, “baby Jane Doe, born to me October 12, 1964.” As the only other living heir, Fletcher feels betrayed. A young woman, he does not know, stands in the way of a fortune.  Is his ruthless greed God’s ticket to his heart?
